Mostafa Movahedinia (Iran, 1984) is the founder and principal architect of Depth Office, a practice he established in 2015 to explore the intersection between research, collaboration, and design. His work embraces experimentation with form and space while remaining deeply rooted in cultural and architectural heritage.

Since 2020, he has served as Assistant Professor of Architectural Design at Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, mentoring students and bridging academic inquiry with studio practice. He studied architecture at the University of Trieste and earned a Ph.D. in Architectural and Urban Design from the University of Florence, Italy, in 2016 — experiences that continue to shape his design philosophy.

During his years in Italy, Mostafa collaborated with several renowned studios and architects, refining both his creative vision and professional rigor. Upon returning to Iran, he founded Depth Office, now a team of ten dedicated professionals developing contemporary architecture inspired by Iranian identity, history, and materials. The studio’s work seeks to balance a modern spatial language with social, cultural, and environmental contexts.
